Plot

Britain, China, France, India, Pakistan, Russia, and the United States all had nuclear weapons of mass destruction a thousand years before, and within the time gap every country from Abkhazia to Zimbabwe has joined in possessing the “tools of the trade”, as most governments called them. It was the year 3000 when every country known to man broke out into a world war that would obviously end the world. Families fled to underground bunkers, taking only the food and belongings they could carry, praying to the Lord that the quarreling on the surface would cease. The food didn’t matter, for as soon as the bombs were set off, the vibrations sent the core of the Earth into spasms. The bunkers were flooded with molten rock from the center of the Earth and new volcanoes erupted at random on the surface, adding to the already unfixable damage that the bombs had caused. The humans had Christianity along with the other religions belonging to the vast amounts of countries, but animals believed in a different God. The Book Of Hereliah, their version of the Bible or the Koran, was read through the weather patterns and the scents on the wind. Their Savior, which took the shape of a large white wolf, was named Canis rather than Jesus. God, or this this case, Aeuna was the mother and creator of all things.

The Earth, a once flourishing planet of bountiful life laid a cracked, broken wasteland. The deceased, animals that believed in Canis flocked to the gates of Hereliah, their version of Heaven. Hereliah began to overflow, and Canis re-created Earth as it was from the beginning, save for the dinosaurs, but on a new canvas. An entire new planet called Thelka now took on the appearance of Pangea, becoming populated with the wild creatures of the 2000’s that lived in North America and the Gulf of Mexico. Wolves, being the most intelligent of the grouping, quickly took their place at the top of the totem pole. Canis saw them as his greatest creation, for they didn’t fight as the humans did but they held all their other qualities. They could fluently speak to each other, love, fear, and much more.
